INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS

With the Julius Baer Zurich E-Prix 2018, we want to organise an event that equally delights visitors, racing drivers, organisers and, above all, residents alike. We understand that the event brings a certain amount of uncertainty for residents. One of our main concerns is making sure that the residents living along the racetrack and the area affected by the event are notified accordingly.

At our two information events on 23 January and 18 April, we informed about our event concept and answered all the questions. We thank all participants for the pleasant reception. In preparation for the Julius Baer Zurich E-Prix 2018, as a local resident, you also received our information flyer with lots of information about the Zurich E-Prix by post at end of April.

We would like to point out that the electric racing series Formel E produces virtually no noise and pollutant emissions. During the construction phase, it will be necessary to suspend traffic on both a section-by-section basis and also a time basis. This will have no effect on the city of Zurich’s main thoroughfares and approach roads.

During the race weekend, all buildings will remain accessible by foot.
Access to the zone inside the event site is ensured by temporary bridges. An elevator will also be available at the Gotthardstrasse / corner Stockerstrasse.

We would like to thank all residents for their understanding, and their support in helping us host the spectacular racing that the Julius Baer Zurich E-Prix 2018 represents.

ROAD CLOSURE

Friday, 08 June from 19:00 to Monday, 11 June 05:00

The closures concerns in particular the following roads completely and / or in subareas:

Registration for Pit Lane Walk

Soon the time has come and the whole world is watching Zurich’s “Kreis 2”. We thank the residents for their support and the understanding that they have for our project and hope that they will experience a fantastic race weekend on their doorstep.

We cordially invite you, dear residents, to a Pit Lane Walk. When visiting the so-called pit lane you have the opportunity to watch the mechanics and teams during their final preparations for the Formula E race on Sunday. A unique opportunity to experience the Zurich E-Prix behind the scenes!
The registration process is closed.

Current information from Wednesday, June 06:

We are overwhelmed by the enormous interest and thank all residents for their registration.
Despite an increase in the number of persons admitted, we had to close the registration process before the registration deadline.
This is important to guarantee the safety of the participants.
We thank you for your understanding.
